Default S&W 1911 Pro Series

Well, this followed me home the other day from my LGS. This will be my second Scandium S&W, the other being a 325 NG. Went to the range yesterday and sent 50 FMJ 45 ACP rounds down range. Preformed very well and accurate, the perceived recoil, was minimal. I think the trigger is one of the smoothest and lightest I've shot in a while.

I have a keeper for sure.

Yeah I picked one up also. Mine came with he Crimson Trace grips. Very accurate, light recoil, and perfect functioning. For self defense I find it likes Hornady XTP's. For spare mags as always I use Wilson Combat 47 series.

I put a Stainless Wilson Combat extended slide release on as soon as I got it home. I have ordered some Truglo TG131NT4Y tritium/fiber optic sights, supposedly these will be easier on the eyes than the original.

I got one several months ago and set it up with some VZ grips and a Cylinder & Slide SFS trigger / hammer arrangement. With the exception of the magazines that came with the pistol (which I thought were cheap and had that huge base plate) I have been really happy with it.
