Default Some model 41 advise please

I am shooting bullseye with my 41. I have many types of shooting sports under my belt but am now feeling the need to challenge myself with the discipline that bullseye demands. I have been shooting indoors at 50 feet with irons (7" barrel) and have been messing around on practice time shooting a halo sight on my 5 inch barrel. My scores are knocking on the door or 480 (out of 500).

I am thinking of shooting a outdoor NRA match outdoors or maybe even a 2700match and was wondering how much benefit I might see by getting into a Rink, Nill or some other grip. My 1958 model 41 wears the original grips currently.

I also am wondering you thoughts on the site. Halo, tube site like a Ultra dot, or a scope.

I am on the edge of my eyesight giving up and have been shooting with prescriptions that I worked with the doc to get the focus I wanted. (That was a trip ..... the assistant walked in while I was sighting down the barrel of the 41 while the doc was trying lenses...(out the window at a dumpster across the parking lot)..... should have seen her face. lol

Anyway, what say you experienced shooters.

I like the Rink Grips a lot and have them on one of my M41s. R.Fung (funggrips) makes a good grip also and the delivery may be quicker.
After my cataract operation I went back to irons on my 7'' barrel, otherwise I think most bullseye shooters use tube sights, mostly Matchdots.

I shoot in a bullseye league at the NRA Range with a Clark Custom Ruger MKII. It has Randall Fung grips and an Ultradot sight. I do pretty well with it and averaged 520 out of 600 last season. I can't keep up with the guys using Pardinis but I'm sure my skills are a limiting factor there too.

I would like to use my Model 41 with a Clark barrel in the league but it has too many extraction issues right now. It has factory grips and a C-MORE sight. I've found that I acquire the dot with tube red dot sights much faster than the screen style sights (C-MORE, Burris FastFire). I also find that the anatomical grips (like the Fungs) give a more consistent hand position but I suppose that's their purpose. If I can get the Model 41 running reliably enough to use in competition then I will invest in a set of grips and an Ultradot for it.

This 41 is plenty precise and a ton of fun when it's running well
