Default 4566 vs 4567

Hi. First post on this forum. I recently acquired a 4566 of 95% or better condition, and a 4567 (with carbon steel slide) and of approximately 90% or maybe a little better. I don't necessarily need two 456x's, and there are other 3rd gen variants that I'd like to get my hands on such as a railed TSW. So I figured I'd offer one of the 456x's in trade if the opportunity arises. I'd like your opinions on which one to keep. I'm leaning towards keeping the 4566. I know some covet the all stainless models, especially in good condition; on the other hand the 4567, although in lesser condition, looks sharp in two-tone, and was a limited production. Does that fact make the 4567 inherently more desirable? Are 4567's any more or less hard to find than 4566's? Thanks for your feedback.

I'm not a expert S&W collector but there are quite afew here. I regret selling off the ones that I sold. I'd say wait and save up till you can get a S&W TSW you want. You'll pay more in the end trying to get back the one you sold years from now. I know I am.

"...regret selling off the ones I sold." Marine, you hit the nail on the head. In fact, that's my situation. I sold a 4003TSW (with accessory rail) a couple years ago and been missing it. I like railed guns, and the TSW's are hard to find (in my locale). I was the original owner. It was 98% when I sold it. Fortunately, the guy I sold it to is local and still has it. He sent me some pics and it looks like still maybe 95% or better. He want's a 4566 but would settle for a 4567. Like yourself, I'm an enthusiast but not an avid collector. One 406x variant is enough for me. So looks like I'll keep the 4566, and trade the 4567 for my 4003. I'll still have the 4566. He'll be happy; I'll be happy. It's all good.
