Default 645 Blue?

Did S&W make a blue steel version of the 645?

Not that I've ever seen one. You might be thinking of the 745 which has a blued slide and is a similar profile as the 645.

I have 2 M59 types, I wouldn't mind having the same thing in .45 ACP.

Closest thing was the limited run of 4505's.

By limited run I'm assuming expensive. I want a carry gun. I guess I'll need to look a bit more.

Not particularly expensive, just not that common, thus they are hard to find.

4505 carbon steel slide and carbon steel frame. 1,200 produced in 1991.

745 had three versions, Unmarked slide, 10th anniversary IPSC marked slide, Adjustable sights. All carbon slide and stainless frame single action.

Nice looking guns. I'm thinking that having both a 9mm and a .45 that work the same is a good idea.
