Hate the curved baseplate on the 6906 mags. Will a 5906 one work with a 6906 mag?

As already mentioned,yes, the mags are identical but for length and capacity.
Also, a while back I had a 6906 that came with 4 mags, but the previous owner also wanted one without the curved baseplate, so he just ground one of them down himself.
I don't know how much trouble it was, but it did make the pistol more pocket-carry freindly.
( But, he probably could've just called S&W and they'd have sent him a 5906 baseplate, for free LOL! )

It's what I have in my 6906 right now. Of course, that means I also have a 5906 mag with a seriously weird-butt curved baseplate hanging off the bottom...
