Default 5903

Is $350 a good price for a very clean 5903?

Opinions on the 5903 would be appreciated.

That would be a good price for even a decent model. How many mags? Any box or extras?

I'll assume "very clean" means it is not a cop trade-in or a re-import.

It sure sounds good but I'd still have to ask how many magazines and original factory box vs. no box to pin it down for certain.

Could be a good deal... could be a great deal.

Good price as I stand. What I paid for mine.

I paid that for a barely fired re-import with one mag and I thought it was a great deal. I say go for it.

What do I think of the 5903? It's as nice as a SIG P226, but has an awkwardly placed decocker. They're great guns, if a bit ergonomically dated.

I would take a 5903 over the over the all stainless and heavy 5906 any day of the week for that price.

Still amazed that people ask these questions as if you can buy something better at that price.

Even a Police trade in isnt a bad deal. Mine has been flawless in performance.

Go for it! In my opinion, the 5903 is the best version of the 5900 series Smith ever made. You won't be disappointed and I think that is a great price!

Yep, great pistol, very good price, especially if it's as clean as you say. I had one with some mild finish issues on the frame, and got $425 out of it on my local Armslist, a couple months ago. I liked the pistol a lot, but had to let something go to get into another toy I just had to have !
I wouldn't fart around, you best go grab that thing !!
