It's been a few weeks since I thumbed through my SCSW 4th and admittedly, I tend to look for GUNS inside it, but either this one or past editions have discussed such things as original boxes and even handcuffs, and certainly drawn out discussions on stocks and grips.
It certainly makes perfect sense to "shake out" all the different magazines and variances amongst them.

Hey there, 3rd Gen magazine hunters. I recently picked up a couple 3906 (952, for those who prefer their pants fancy) mags from Midway. Their SW mags are currently 25% off. To my surprise, this included 3906 mags, which I can never find cheap. They're $26, which is about $5-$10 cheaper than I usually see them selling for. I don't know what other 3rd Gen mags are on sale, except that they don't have 4006 mags. I tried to see if anybody else mentioned it, and didn't see anything, so my apologies if it's been mentioned.

I wish they'd stop that! I have four that I've been trying to sell since I sold my 3904. They are undercutting me, selling new magazines for a dollar more than I was planning to sell used ones.

I wasn't aware they did that, until I signed up for their ad. I can't imagine that'll continue, unless SW is still making 952s, and therefore magazines with it.
I hope you have a windfall elsewhere, because I love the deal!

They've been doing it off and on for the last couple of years. The good news is that they occasionally do it for 3913 magazines, and right new CS45 magazines are on sale.

The gun shows in Houston have mags for almost whatever you want certainly for Smith & Wesson 3rd gens - new & used. CDNN is always advertising new mags. Lots of other internet sellers.

Sure,I'll sell them to you.
the 2 on the left are the recently acquired ones, the other 5 are recent too but not as recent.
For you BAM-BAM,$20 if you want me to hold them until the next 'bunch' or $25 shipped if you can't wait. Let me know which ones.

Went to the Lima Ohio gun show today,Saturday. Never been to it because of drive time and miles, one way was 2:50 and 182 miles. Was the most incredible Ohio gun show because of the things that interested me,someone else might think it's not that great. Magazines everywhere,OEM S&W mags. Of all the 1st,2nd,3rd gen mags I saw,I'd say 90% were pre-ban as in the realm of blue and 2 witness holes, metal baseplate. Blue 69 series, never seen those before. Picked up one 40 10rd and a 59 series 20rd.

Actually...
They host a big one over Labor Day weekend. Kind-of guns... it's a huge flea market.
Anyone shopping for guns there has to be ABSOLUTELY AWARE that this show draws many vendors from out of state. PM me for more info on why this matters.

If you want the OEM...
...it would be best to pick them up whenever you can find them. They may be available, but the prices are going up, too.

Berea Ohio show this weekend, picked up a 69XX 10 rd,4513TSW 6rd(being shipped to NC tomorrow), 8 blue early 59 mags. 3 of the 59s' were wrapped in brown paper, appear brand new, don't even have marks on the body from being inserted into a pistol,is that how they came in the 'old days',in brown paper ?
