Default can you identify this magazine?

Hello my S&W goombas. I found 2 mags like this in my junk box, and they have me puzzled. They are 5903/06 mags, but I don't recall ever seeing them with only 2 witness holes and no round count markings. Can you enlighten me?
all the best, fuzzy

That's a 2nd Gen 659 mag, but it looks like you only have the mag body. The only S&W marking on it is on the floor plate.

Sevens,

Thanks. Yes, I said magazine, but yes I realize these are only bodies. I never thought of second gen. I only have first gen and 3rd gen mags, so I had nothing to compare it to.

Yes, I can identify it. It's Fred. I used to know him well years ago, but it looks like he's fallen upon hard times!

Are there even-numbered witness holes on the side you're not showing us?

The 3rd gen 59XX mags we received with our early production guns had numbered witness holes only on one side and were 14-rd mags. The later mags we got came with numbered holes on both sides, and were 15-rd round mags (with a couple revisions of orange followers).

Fastbolt,
No, there are no round counts on either side. the side you can't see has one witness hole. Fred has indeed fallen on tough times, but with zero availability of factory mags here in California, I have resulted to digging around the bottom of my "10 years ago this stuff would have trash" box.
bless y'all, fuzzy
