I'm just curious if the 1076 was ever offered to the public in the "FBI" configuration; with the night sights, palm swell grips and no magazine disconnect. I was following an auction of one with all the features, but it wasn't listed as an FBI gun and wasn't marked as a PD gun. I'm sure someone around here has the stats or knows what's up. Thanks!

I have several 1076's including and FBI model. As far as I know no civilian model was ever made in that configuration. Some PD guns were not marked with agency logos or markings like VSP their 1076's and 1026's had no markings but no mag disconnect.

What Aegis said is what I have seen as well, more than likely someone made some additions. Only way to be totally sure is t letter request from S&W...
