Smith & Wesson Model 39-2
I have a S & W Model 39-2, Serial #A419086. Can anyone tell me when it was manufactured and it's present value in excellent condition?

Production year may be 1978 and if you don't have original box, papers and cleaning rod with extra original magazine, it might typically sell in the $400-$475 range -if- it's as nice as you suggest.
I love them, I have a pair of 39-2's and a much older Model 39. And these are legendary and much-loved pistols. But the prices tend to stay affordable because they made well more than 350,000 of them.

I looked at a 39-2 last weekend at a local gun show that was NIB with all papers and accessories.The seller was asking for $450.
