Yes. Safe queens just sit there. You can't enjoy them when they are locked away.

Go shoot it... They'll print more money.

Full disclosure - This is coming from the guy who snuck out to the range at lunch today to blast away with a 1st run Python...

Did you shoot it yet??

Go ahead, and then clean it really well. I won't tell.

Very nice safe queen..I suppose I can go $625.01. Sell it or shoot it. As a safe queen its not really an investment, it won't appreciate much compared to a model 27 or 44 form the 1950s-1970s. Very few guns made in 1990s by anyone are really collectables..except for some vey expensive woodworking hardware usually shotguns or rifles. SO why keep it in a safe. Either use it as intended or take the money and buy something more collectable or shoot the snot out of it. Also I agree that shooting it may devalue its potential sales vale but it will NEVER be a collectable firearm anyway. We are taking about maybe at the most $50-$100. Not really worth holding on to it for without shooting it. On the other hand...it's your gun and your collection...so what I or anyone else thinks is really meaningless. Do what makes you happy.

If all it does is take up space in your safe, I think you should sell it and take the capital gains on it. ,
