Default New Mdl 915 Joins the Family

A new (to me) Mdl 915 joined the family on Saturday. Purchased for $275 with two magazines, it is in decent shape with a bright barrel. Looked like the former owner didn't clean it much and hadn't oiled it in years, but it cleaned up okay (it has a bit too much CLP on it now, but I'll wipe it down again).

With serial number VBK-XXXX, the 915 joins its siblings with fairly close serial numbers: VBH-XXXX (3913) and VCV-XXXX (6906).

I'm getting more fun out of these 3d Gen pistols than many types of guns that came before, including a passel of striker-fired polymer pistols -- some of which were pretty good guns. Reliability is #1, accuracy is #2, and the 3913 and 6906 don't take a back seat to anything else I've owned. We'll see how the 915 shoots during the next trip to the range...

Congrats on the 915, and your other 3rd Gen pistols.

I have, and still do carry my 915 when ever I can. Summer makes it a little harder but when I can I like the 15 rounds over my 3913 8 rounds.

You can see mine is well used.
