Default New Victory

I finally picked up a new SW22 Victory. I bought it yesterday at a local shop and I took it to the range today. I ran every brand and type of 22 ammo I had on hand and it shot everything I ran through it and was very accurate. After about 300 rounds I had a few times the bolt didn't go all the way into battery but a little push on the back of the bolt and it was back in action but it was getting dirty by that point anyway.
I shot around 500 rounds through it today and I am very pleased with it. I did put 1 drop of blue loctite on the take down screw before going to the range and I didn't have any problems with it coming loose. I will put a red dot on it soon and see how good it will really shoot but I am enjoying shooting it with iron sights for now.

Great news. We like photos; especially range photos. Mine is due to go back to the range sometime this week.

I also picked up a SW22 yesterday, cleaned it and put a few hundred rounds through it today.

I have ran chrono data on 11 different brands of 22LR with my Labradar and the Victory ate them all. The best so far has been Sk Pistol Match but Norma TAC 22 at $45 a brick shoots fine and is better then Norma Match.

Many of these Brand names we do not ever see up here in Canada at all. CCI SV we can get on occasion and the garbage Remington stuff. Federal shows up in my area on occasion as well and the odd box of Winchester or Blazer sometimes also. Thats about all we see most of the time due to the shortages in 22 supplies. Most of the higher calibers we can get almost anything in but not the 22 ammo.

I bought one on Friday night and was able to take apart today. Man was that screw tight!!! Also surprised barrel as dirty as was and brush produced what seemed like little filings. Put red dot on it and will take to range this week. 10 meters sound good?

I miss hunting those critters. Where did you get that slide racker. Well I guess in this case a bolt racker? I have one on my 9 Pro Long and love it.
