Default SHOT A M&P THIS MORNING FOR THE FIRST TIME

I went to the Range this morning with my usual crew and one neighbor I met only last week. He had a S&W M&P in 9mm and constantly had the slide not lock back on the last round. I shot the gun (at his request) and the slide did stay locked on the last round so the only thing I can think is that he either limp wristed the gun or had his thumb resting on the slide release. I told him that and we will see next week when we go again.

While the M&P shot fine and we had no other issues, I was just not impressed with it. The slide is about the hardest slide to pull back that I have ever experienced! I do not normally have any issues with any gun but this was super stiff!!! The sights were off a little but that was an easy and quick fix. The trigger was also about 7 1/2 pounds which was just more than most like. All in all, not impressed.

I have an M&P Performance Center .45 ACP and love it. I shoot it very well and it's very accurate. The sights, trigger and porting are great on it. Only thing I had an issue with was a faulty factory magazine. It was not feeding properly.
