Default Bodyguard .380 auto

I've had this gun for 2 years with no problems. Yesterday, I ejected the magazine and pulled the slide back to eject the round from the chamber and the slide will not go back all the way. Therefore the round will not eject. I was able to push the round down and out through the magazine well to clear it. I can not manually pull the slide far enough back to engage the slide lock.

I broke the gun down and it is clean. I shot it a month ago with no issues and cleaned it afterward. I clear the gun daily when I get home (never has it not ejected the round). I can not see anything obvious that is restricting the slide from traveling all the way back.

Anybody else encountered this or have any suggestions?

Well I never had a problem with my 3 YO BG.

There have been some talk about the screw that hols the LASER coming lose and doing funny things. Perhaps check that area!

NKlakesider - THANK YOU!!! That was exactly what it was. The screw was loose and catching the bottom of the slide. All fixed and functioning properly. I spent an hour looking at everything and did not see the screw was loose. Much appreciated!
