Anyone know how the pre rail 4553 grip frame length compares to a 3953?

I don't have either but from similar models I have & held;

- the 4553TSW pre-rail has one round smaller magazine then the railed version (6 vs 7). Noticeably shorter.

- you don't say exactly which 3953?

The 3953 & railed 3953TSW are standard 8 round mags.
The 3953TSW pre-rail is 7 rounds mag.

The two pre-rail models would be of similar (shorter) length grips.

If it's either of the non-railed 3953s, they'll be longer.

The (7) round 4553TSW & the (8) round 3953 grip length are of similar length.

The pre-rail 4013TSW & 4056TSW were shorter grips/mags too.

Sorry I didn't make my inquiry clear.
It's just the plain old 3953 that I am referring to.

I've been "thinning out the herd" for the last couple of years (sold about 70) and am down to only one 3rd gen pistol - the above 3953.
I sold a standard 4053 (non TSW) a few weeks back and have been thinking of looking for a pre-rail 4553.
Had I been on the ball last month I might have gotten in on the bidding on two 4556s that sold on Gunbroker.
It's pretty hard to switch to the buying mode after being in the selling mode but I'm struggling to make the shift.
