When I walk into my shop and stumble across a mid 90's S&W 4506 that original owner says is unfired, I'm a happy guy. Especially when I pay what a new Glock 19 goes for  I'm thinking 95-96? VZE 9xxx. Under special order on the box, it says 6302. Not sure what that is.

That's the 302nd day of the year 1996, which was a leap year. so, that's October 28, 1996.
