Default Hogue rubber grips, S&W. Model 457

I would like to order these as suuggested by several members. However, after searching around, the pictures I have seen seem to conflict with regard to the grip lower pin location. My 457's pin is very low near the end. Others seen on line appear to show the pin approx an inch up from the bottom corner. Comments please! Thanks

The original grip pin is used in the Hogue installation to retain the plastic mainspring block - the rubber grip panels are then screwed into that block.

You're seeing the screws - the pin is hidden under the grip panels in it's normal place.

Check this out -
