Default S&W 4006

Whats up guys i just picked up a new S&W 4006 but kinda confused what i got lol

Its S&W 4006 performance, bar sto 40 S&W barrel, PCD0072, product code 104401, features "SPECIAL"? dont really know what that mean but thats what it says on the case


The store that i got it from didnt really tell me much the history about it so im just wondering if any of you kinda have any ideas

Default 4006 Performance Center

If your 4006 reads SW Performance Center or Tactical or similar, it has specialized custom barrel built for accuracy. And, yes, if you have one in excellent shape, you have a very good deal. Assuming you have some mags with it. Lucky you.

I think any third generation all stainless Smith auto with two mags in excellent condition is a $500 pistol and the price goes up from there for "specials" like yours. Congrats!

That's good to hear mine was brand new with 2 mags
Took it to the range few days ago shots 100 rounds pretty accurate too
