Default E Series .45 Deal?

My LGS has a nearly new late production stainless E Series .45 ACP 1911. I like it and can get the gun for $650 out the door.
I'm not up on the prices, deal or no deal?

If it's gently used, that's a pretty good deal. If new, it's a real deal.

Deal, especially if it's clean and has factory mags. A stock E series in said condition around here would sell for $750 +/-. More if it has seen upgrades.
Better yet, you'll love that gun too!

I paid $925 OTD for mine. Jump on it, you won't regret it.

My desire for a .45 ACP carbine won out and I ordered the Mech Tech CCU today. So, the S&W E Series will just have to go to another person. Now, if it had been an adjustable sight version, the CCU might have waited agian...
