5906 Police Trade-ins $375.
Just saw this if anyone is interested. They're supposed to be in very good to excellent condition. Looks like they have about 20.

They're going pretty quick. Got an alert from a slickguns keyword yesterday around 5 and there were 20, then there were 11 this morning when I ordered. Now there are three.
I'm excited, I've had my eyes out in particular for one with the adjustable sights and curved finger guard. Hopefully it shows up as described. This will make 6 1-3 gens. Not sure how many I need before I can call it a collection, but I'll be there eventually.
I wonder how much longer we'll see police trade-ins?

Looks like these guys are local to me here in Birmingham. Let me see what i can find out have a suspicion as to who it may be. Will let you guys know ASAP.
There is one local shop I know who has a bunch of police trade in 3rd gens here so might be a second shop but don't know yet.
Just bought a flawless 2006 5906 with night sights one mag no box for $375 from one of my local shops and know he has a bunch of 3956's also.

Picked mine up today. Has typical handling marks you'd expect from a PD turn in. The mags are practically new. ****** phone pic attached. Overall, an excellent deal for $375.00 in my humble opinion.

I got to out check out mine today, but not take it home. Somehow the background check didn't go through instantly like normal. Ah well.
I'm satisfied with it, but it was by no means "excellent" as described. No pitting or scratches, just marred finish. I'll bead blast it and it will be great, but if it were "excellent" I shouldn't have to.
No agency markings. Has night sights (not functional of course). Looked cleaner than any PD trade-in I've bought and actually had lube on it. Normally they're just lubed with sweat, dirt, and dead skin cells!
For $375 it's a win. I really wanted those adjustable sights with rounded trigger guard.

The finish on mine is great. Some scuffing to the grips on the right side. Photos make it look worse than it is.

So which agency did you suspect these came from?
I noticed mine was marked 20388 under the grip.
Also, one of my magazines had a label with someone's first initial and last name.
