Default 5903 and 6906 build date
Greetings,

New to the forum and recently purchased two 3rd gens off Gun Broker last week. Finally got them and wanted to know build date on them. If anyone could assist, i would appreciate it.

5903 - serial number VZB44xx

6906 -serial number VCD03xx

Just email the serial number to smith and wesson, they will send you the date... I've done it with all of mine, they have great customer service, usually get a response within a day of two...

Do you have the original boxes? If so, the "spec ord" number can often be decoded to reveal the build date.
