Default Victory Extractor failure

After many hundred rounds, my Victory's extractor fell apart. I did find the pieces and put it back together only to have it fail again. It has been sent to S&W but I'm wondering if any of you have had the same failure happen. I could not see any reason for it to come out of the bolt, but it did twice. The second time I lost the extractor claw. Thanks

Thank you for the reply and link to the video. I did exactly that so I know something else besides me caused the problem. I lies in S&W's hand at the moment, I talked to them today after they received the gun and they were exceptionally nice and helpful.

I had the extractor of my brand new S&W 22 Victory exit the gun on my first shot. It happened in my shop where I have a bullet trap for test fire. None of the parts were found so I sent it to S&W. I subsequently put a new Volquartsen extractor hook in my gun while watching the how to video.

Has been totally reliable after factory fix.
