Default Blued Third Gens

There is something just so cool about all the third gens. But to me there is just something cool about the blued models. Like the 3904, 3914, 4004, 4505 and 5904. The only one I have owned was a 5904 in the past. Post pics of yours if you want.

Seems that all the second generations I find are blue and all the third generations are stainless.

3914NL

5904

CS9

3904 (From the side looks just like the 5904)

457

Of all of them, only the 3914NL & 457 are still in my possession. The others have found new homes with people who appreciate 3rd Gen guns.

If I could find a 3914DAO and/or 3914TSW, I'd love to add them to the collection, especially the 3914DAO. Finding that isn't impossible, it's bringing it into the PRM that would be the trick. We've beaten that one to death here, so I won't bore you with it again.

Default The New Blue is Black ...

I prefer my carry guns to be black.

Here is my 3914 LS:

The 3914 DAO:

The 457 in .45:

My personal favorite the 4040PD:

Not a carry gun, but the rare all steel 5905:

And the only "blue" gun, a model 59:

Just curious, how much is a BNIB 4505 worth? I saw one at a gun show almost two weeks ago.
The seller told me I was the only one who even knew what the gun was or asked about it.

He was asking 1500.

I don't think it's worth that much. Some guns are rare and highly desirable, some guns are just rare.

Personally, the 4505 falls into the second category. I suppose a hard core collector might think it was worth that much, but at that price, the gun is going to spend most of it's time in a safe.

I have a LNIB 4505 that I'm about to place up for sale and my value will be in a similar range $1300-1500

Cheers!!!

I only like the blued ones.

I'll add a 5904TSW T&E pistol for the South Korean National Police.
