Price Check: Model 52, LNIB, 2 mags, tools
I have an opportunity to purchase a LNIB Model 52, (not 52-1 or 52-2) with original box, papers, wax paper wrap. Looks 99.9%.
It's a blue cardboard box, blue cardboard insert. Box does NOT have the serial number on it but it is written on the enclosed Warranty card.
What is it worth?

That's a tough one to call. Only 3,500 of the no-dash 52's were supposed to have been made, between 1961 and 1963.
The grade of 99.9% seems optimistic-- what is keeping it from 100% ?
Price is difficult to nail down as the no-dash is rarely found in such high grade. Ends up being precious few data points to support a real market value.
I could see $2,000 being a real-world number if it's actually THAT high in grade, and the number would fall with each and every shot if someone wished to shoot and enjoy the pistol.
Certainly sounds like an amazing find.

It might actually be unfired; short of a field strip I am not sure.

Tough call? Darn near impossible. Apparently the price is a secret.
The box is a real head scratcher. Price I would pay? I dont know.
Hope some pics are coming. Best

A unfired since leaving the factory, complete and correctly boxed, excellent plus condition model 52 would easily top the $2000 mark on the various firearms auction sites.

Price would be north of $1700 after tax.
It's not a steal but the condition is intriguing.
That there is no serial # or adhesive label on the box is odd to me.

One sold recently on GB that was advertised as NOS and went in the mid $3k range. Not what I would pay, but apparently someone wanted it.

Hello Tom, I have been following as best as I can. Stone cold as new with matching accessories, are trading at $3000. The dash 2s seem to sell a little better. I guess the the long extractor scares some people off.
Just so you load the chamber from the magazine, no problem. The OPs box may be a factory replacement when the the 52 was returned for some work by the factory? $1700 for the OPs 52 sounds fair. If the mags have the steel figure eight followers. Best

Wow, I have never seen a figure-8 follower in a 52 mag, I didn't realize they existed.
Any chance the box is original and end label fell off years back?

OOPS! got my mags mixed up. The mags I have are steel and thin. Not flat or plastic or figured eight. Sorry about that. Best
