CS 40 value?

I've been looking at a very nice cs40 in a local pawn shop and was wondering what current value is for these little pistols. It's priced at 469 and I didn't think that was too bad. Just wanted the opinions of people more knowledgeable about these guns than me.

My opinion is that the typical value is running between $400 - $500 OTD, pending condition, box, and mag count.

In very nice condition as you indicate, as long as it has a couple of mags with it, that sounds like a fair price.

Thanks for the replys! I should have mentioned in the original post, but it does come with 2 factory mags and the box.

Sounds about right to me. Good deal if you're after one, otherwise seems fair market.

Do NOT forget to haggle.

Pawn shops typically buy things for 1/4 to 1/2 their value.
So there's usually a lot of wiggle room to get a better deal.
Especially if you are a semi-regular face...
it pays to shop regularly, buy some knicknacks on occasion,
tools, a cheap GPS, musical instruments, etc...
but pay asking price or close to it for small things...
save the big haggle for the BIG items!

Have around 15 shops I hit monthly...
and my interests are pretty wide...
but the big ticket items are guns & instruments...
1 favorite line is, "What kinda price can you throw
at me to make me take this home today?"

The main thing is being known as a BUYER,
not as a seller/pawner...pawn shops typically
have a pretty good turnover of merchandise,
so they aren't usually hurting for money,
but believe me, those who BUY, are remembered

Also, remember what you see, just like Rudyard
Kipling's "Kim's Game". The longer an item sits,
the more they wanna get rid of it. If you know
their date codes, it's to your advantage.
So you look at something, kinda want it, kinda don't,
and see it a couple months later...still there.
That's when you can lay the No Haggle Haggle on 'em!
