Default Karl Sokol still work on 3rd gens?
Has anyone here used Karl Sokol at Chestnut Mountain Sports recently? Does he still work on 3rd gen pistols?

I ask because if he is, I want to send him a CS45 for a barrel recrown and maybe a trigger job. Thanks! Regards 18DAI

I will take a shot in the dark here and say, Why not as the man himself . Only sure fire way I know to find out and then you can ask about his time frame too .

18DAI,
He still works on them but since he is a one man shop you might have a little wait. We worked together on the same PD in Mass. back in 1993 and he does outstanding work. Heck, he even introduced me to my wife on a blind date at his house. I can definitely vouch for him!

The picture in my avitar photo is a custom 3914 he built for my wife. It is an amazing pistol!!
