I have a S&W Model 4546 which is Stainless. I have fired 1 box of 45acp out of it. It has had an action job and is very very smooth.
I can't find out any information about what it is worth. I don't shoot 45acp any longer and I have 5 Stainless Steel Clips that go with it. Any help out there?

Syd, welcome to the forum. Are you sure it says 4545?

Welcome, Your gun should be a 4546 if it is Stainless, Fullsize and DAO. A photo of the left side would clear that up. Those guns are gaining in value. If the gun is in good condition $400-500 with two magazines. The other 3 mags could add another $100-150 to total value. So complete package in these parts would run $500-650 in excellent condition.

The last 4546 that sold on GB went for $780 with one magazine. Factory magazines are going for $30 - $40.

If it's Stainless and Double Action Only, it's a 4546, as there was no 4545 according to the SCSW.

If you have the box, paperwork, and anything else that came with it, depending on the condition, it could be worth up $1,000.00. That's according to, again, the SCSW.

These were only made for one year, although there are two versions. One has a square trigger guard, the other has a rounded trigger guard.

A picture or two would help the folks here give you more information.

Besides, we like pictures, especially of rare 3rd Gens.
