Default Even More 2nd Generation Goodness

It's been a good week. I Received two guns that were purchased last month on Monday and they were better than expected. I stopped by a Pawn Shop on the way home from work today to see if they still had a pistol that 2 weeks ago was marked at $439. The manager wouldn't budge that day. Today I got it at $415 OTD. 1983 Vintage 659 dirty but in good shape, one magazine in the original box.

Very nice! I'm planning to take my recently acquired 659 on its first trip to the range tomorrow. I gave it a thorough cleaning and lube, replaced the recoil spring, and added a set of Pachmayer wrap-around grips.

I have two model 459s, second generation guns are under appreciated. I would have paid the $439 if I had seen it!

I am afraid to say I paid more for mine that I just bought. But on the good side, it was LNIB, had everything, even the vapor barrier. I was mad at the fact it came with pachmayers, but I guess that's what a lot of people use on these.

I was tempted to but I have recently spent a lot on two pistols and on a rifle. Getting a $60 off retail made me feel a little fiscally responsible. (Make that 3 pistols)
