Default Bead Blasting

I picked up a less than steller 3913 today and would like to know if bead blasting is recommended to repair the blemishes.

You could bead blast the stainless slide, but the frame is anodized aluminum alloy and you will strip if off and need a suitable refinish.

Otherwise the frame looks to be in great condition - I think Cerakote is harder than the anodizing if you decide to get it refinished. Good catch!!

The slide can be touched up with 400 to 600 black wet or dry sandpaper and a brass hammer. Just lay sandpaper on slide and tap lightly with hammer. Takes some time but it works. I have a 5906 that had bright spots that I blended in and it looks almost like new!
