Looks like ya got one in nice condition Don. Doesn't look like much wear on the grips. Mine is an earlier one bought back in 99. Gettin good money for the mags these days. How much did this one set ya back?

I paid $415 all included... I just field stripped it and it appears to be in excellent condition, mags look new, no grime built up anywhere in the gun... hopefully shoot it next week... I need a holster next, I don't have any that fit it... I was hoping maybe my 6946 holster would work, but no such luck

That's nice. I wish I could remember what I had for a holster when I had a CS9, but I can't. Sold the gun with holster a few years ago.

Very good for concealed carry. Magazines show up from time to time here in the classifieds or on Ebay. You just have to keep looking and get lucky. Midway has them new right now.

Have to add I think the OP did well on the price. Have seen many going in the $500 or slightly more price grouping. Might be what locale one is in. Like your blued model coffman. Only made for a short time I hear.

Nice score Don. I'd love to find a CS9D but have to content myself without.

I sometimes carry with a Remora iwb. Best small nine Smith ever made, imo only of course.

I carry my CS9D in a IWB High Noon holster most of the time. I also have a Kramer and a Desantis both IWB. I have an older OWB thumb brake I use every now and then, the maker is not coming to me right now.

I'll admit, the CS9D is one of the few 3rd generation pistols that intrigues me.

So I was looking through my drawer full of holsters again, and I stumbled across this holster for my Shield 9mm... I don't carry my shield anymore so I took the holster and did the wax paper wrap thingy and now it works perfectly for the CS9.... I do have to say that the CS9 feels great, no rough edges stabbing me, easy to draw... I am thinking this will be my final carry gun....... or..... maybe a CS45D lol, can never have to many I suppose

It's wrapped around the gun to stretch the leather a little if the holster is a too tight.

Default CS9D

Well, I saw a YouTube video, where a guy wrapped up a gun in wax paper with the waxy side out... then insert the gun in the holster and leave it over night... then the next day holster and unholster the gun about 5 times with the wax paper still on... then take the wax paper off and see how it fits... in this particular instance it worked great!

That's a great score!

Would love me some D action, but I'm always too late or too short.
