Gunshow find 3904
Have always thought these were trim little guns, glad to have run across it! Now I just need to find it's older brother 39-2.

Nice! But the 39-2 would be the dad. The 439 would be the older sibling.

I really like 3904's. I think you got a great one. I was looking
for one with the square and adjustable but one never showed
up. I settled for square with Novaks, found very cheap in a small
gun shop. Someday maybe I can change it out.
Good find.

A while back I was contemplating buying something different and I found an almost NIB 3904 with the large adjustable rear sight on it. I never gave these semi autos much but a passing glance in the past, but I bought the one I saw and took it home. I have a thing for Model 52's and I thought this would be a fun gun for 9mm stuff. I had actually hoped to buy a 952 one day, but that ain't gonna happen with the outrageous prices guys are getting for them. I took the 3904 to the range and boy was I surprised, that little 3904 shot like a house a fire! I put a set of Millett sights on it and I did even better with it. I liked it so much that I sent it to Cylinder and Slide for one of their 3rd Generation action jobs and now that little pistol is outstanding!! So in the continual improvement process with this pistol, I am working on putting a Trijicon RMR rear optic on it. I don't know if all 3904's shoot as well as mine does, but I now feel no great desire to own anyother 9mm semi auto pistols. The 3904 I have is a ton of fun to shoot and is my go to pistol.
