Default New in Box Lady Smith … interesting pick-up yesterday

Thought you guys might dig this… I stopped by a favorite gun shop in my old town yesterday while traveling through (I always go with cash in hand, the shop gets many consignment guns and the staff are straight shooters). It was a consignment piece, which apparently sat for a while. I picked it up for less than I paid for my last used 3913!

Good catch! I have the good fortune to have the very same LS - although the box on mine is beat up compared to yours ...

Back about 1985... I gave my then finance' a blue 3" M13. They were FBI issue at the time & hard to come by. When we parted ways, she declined to SELL it back to me. I consoled myself by buying the 3" M66-2 when it came my way.

The things we do for love...

I have the same set up but may have paid more than you...$600 for NIB unfired. Very nice find.

Mine's in this pic somewhere...you're a better photographer.

When I first started dating my wife, she stated that she would NEVER have a firearm in her home. Fast forward 11 years, she has put up with two deployments, two kids, at least three major moves across multiple states, and putting up with the BS that comes along with being married to a cop. If one of my firearms strikes her fancy and she wants to lay claim to it, she can have it!

*** and yes, I have been divorced because ex needed "Jody" to support her through a previous deployment. She cleaned out my bank account, but she didn't get one gun or round of ammo from me. Coming back broke from a deployment sucked, but I returned single and still had my toys!

Opps! That's the danger of buying a gun with the name "LadySmith" on it.
