Welcome to the FORUM! I had a 5906 a few years back. Wanted the grips as you do. Another member sent me a set he was no longer using for FREE! That is the kind of people that frequent this forum. Try accessories for sale here too. Good luck! Bob

Keep an eye on Midway and Brownells. They come into stock with some regularity.

I'm in the same boat, looking for curved, only a few straight out there and those looked chewed up.

Browenells shows out of stock on the straight grips, but you can place on back order. $18.75.

I might have a curved laying around. I prefer the straights so any 3rd gen I get I try to swap out. I only ask that you pay it forward if I have some. I will PM you after I cut my grass and look in my parts bin.

Just for the sake of knowledge, and NOT to induce any "worry" for anyone...
Keep in mind when looking for original Delrin S&W 5906 grips that -many- of the earliest ones are still floating around in the market. These are RECALL grips, they cannot be "fixed" but they are a liability if the pistol wearing them is used for duty/defense or any role where possible failure is an issue.
The original formula for the plastic came out brittle and the grips possibly cracked or shattered if dropped, instantly making the pistol 100% inoperable. For this reason... I (personally) have no problem owning or using them, my full-frame double-stack 3rd Gens are all fun guns and don't ever do any "duty" time, so on these... I personally ignore the recall.
You definitely do not want to ignore the recall if you ask your fullsize double-stack 3rd Gen to do any serious work.
