Model 1006 parts
High, I am new to this forum, but not new to guns. I recently purchased a 1006, I had one in the 90's, my question is do any of you guys have any sources for parts for 3rd. Gen S&W's. right now I am looking for a guide rod and a slide stop. I have seen that there some guys here that make some of these parts. Eventually I would like to have enough parts to completely rebuild it as it will be a shooter. It is in really good shape, but there is a ding in the slide stop and I would like to find a single piece guide rod. Thanks for your help

Welcome to the forum. The guide rods are non-existent from what I understand. There is a member on here, if I remember correctly, that was machining new guide rods out of 416 SS (original is aluminum, I believe) Numrich has a lot of parts, including magazine parts. I have a 1006 too and love it.

10mm
10mm is my favorite round for semi autos I have 4 of them a DW 10mm Razorback, a Glock 20, a S&W 1006, and a full custom Colt Delta Elite that has been cut down to commander length and the mainspring housing has been bobtailed, basically the only thing left from Colt is the frame and slide. It is on the way here from the gunsmith as we speak. Back to parts I seen that bad_man_one was making slide stops some time ago. I tried to pm him but the forum couldn't find him

They have all the mag parts except the mag buttplate catch assembly. Midway had them briefly but sold out quickly, with more coming in "soon", but they won't take back orders.
