Default S&W 41 value???

I have come into a S&W 41 through the loss of family member. The pistol is ser# 30000 and is in a black presentation case. With it are two other barrels. It doesn't look like it was a standard production and may have been sold in this presentation case. I am considering parting with it but its value is my biggest question.Would anyone be able to provide a resource where I can research it or just a ball park dollar amount.

In nice shape the guns are in the $1000 ballpark +-. Barrels around $300.
Age, condition, location are all factors. The case and SN seem special.

Were one to move this thread to the appropriate Auto Loader section, it would likely result in significant replies.

Welcome to the Forum.. You need to order a factory historical letter on this gun. It will tell you when it was shipped, where and to whom & the configuration of the set, etc. You may have a very valuable Model 41 that was a special order, etc. The application for the letter is on a link on this Forum, or call S&W's customer service. Cost is $75 but it could ad $100s to the value. Move this to the auto pistol category. Ed.

I'm in for 700.00 and I don't care if you move the post or not;-). BTW they are right above. Welcome to the forum. If you are a shooter you would do well to keep it.I cannot tell if the smaller barrel in the case is a 5" sporter barrel or not but what a cool
Setup. Consider yourself lucky to own one if not the best 22 auto target pistols in the world.

The grips look like smooth target grips, if they are factory and not aftermarket they tend to sell for a lot more money than the regular checkered grips. The shortest barrel looks like a "field" barrel, if it is and in good shape those sell for quite a bit these days. If the whole package is in good condition it might hit 2K on gun broker. You might get more selling the extra barrels separately but maybe not. Good photos are critical if your going to sell it online. Of course you might try shooting it, model 41's are a treat to shoot.
