But yes, the holster I have is specific to the angled dust cover.
Yep, a 3813NL is what I'll be fitting it for.

I took a chance and ordered a Safariland rig for a 226 Rail. It fits like a charm! I ditched the paddle it came with and put a regular belt attachment on it.

So this morning when I took the Minions to school, the 4563 was on the hip. . The only downside is lack of magazines. Since I don't have enough factory mags (yet) and don't trust Pro-mags, based on reports, I took along one of my other CCW pieces in the vehicle, just as a back up.

In today's nutty world, and with in the massive influx of "immigrants" from Muslim countries that the Dept of State has relocated to my area, I feel better when I have a good number of BBs on hand.

I do!

And I plan on continuing to do so as long as my ever expanding waistline will allow.

I have shot preety much all that has been built and offered one time or another in the past 30 years from every manufacturer. However, when i ccw, it has only been my 4506, iwb strong side. Though the 4506 fits the "3rd gem" criterion, it does not fit the "old". Built in the late 80's, its only but a baby in the stainless steel world. Its expected to be old in about 500 years from now! lol, but in all seriousness!! :-)

Friends,

Where are folks getting their .45 mags without paying 40 bucks a pop for them?

I think that might be the going price, at least for now. Brownells has them listed as "out of stock", as do a couple of other sites. Midway doesn't list any at all. Numrich has them, but at $42.00.

There are some Triple K magazines on Ebay at $29.00 plus $10.00 shipping. I don't know anything about that brand of magazine, so I don't know if they are any good or not.

I recently sold a 4516-1 magazine marked for 4616-1 only for $40.00. The reason I set that price is because I replaced the spring with a new OEM one, and those are about $6.00 each.

There's a gun show not too far from me in a couple of weeks. I plan to look and see if there are any magazines there as I want to replace the one I sold.
