Seller has a very clean 4586, no box, 2 mags...$500. He is very proud of whatever he sells. How much is it really worth?
All that I have seen on GB completed auctions is just one in the $470 range.

500 doesn't sound terrible out of range, maybe offer 450?

There was a 4586 TSW with a bolt on rail in a pawnshop here last year for $380. It was rough. I gather up some money and went back and it was gone! I need to go back and check as he usually has a 3rd Gen or two at all times.

Well, condition is everything, especially with the 4586. From what I gather most of them were purchased by law enforcement agencies and show up well used as trade-ins. I picked up a very nice non-police trade-in out here in Southern California on consignment late last year . . . or was it very early this year. In any event, I paid a good price for it because it was in like new condition. In fact, the condition was so good, it begged the question, "Where the heck is the box?" If it's a police turn in, then that sounds a bit high out in free territory (i.e., outside California ). However, if it's in 99%+ condition then it doesn't sound all that bad at all.
