Hello everyone,

This is referring to the full size 15 round double stack 9mm Mec-Gar magazines made for Models 59/659/5906/915/910 etc., but may apply to others as well.

Have any of you noticed significant front-to-back rattles when these magazines are fully loaded? Both of my MG 15 rounders have a significant rattle when fully loaded with Sig Sauer V-Crown 9mm. It only happens when the magazine is inserted into the pistol, and it only seems to occur when these hollow points are loaded, does not happen with FMJ, and it doesn't happen when the mag is out of the gun. I have not tried a different HP yet.

It's not a huge issue, everything still cycles just fine. It does detract from the enjoyment of my wonder 9 a small amount though. Anyone else notice this?

The two I have that come to mind are Wilson 1911 .45's and Glock 30 .45's with a side to side rattles. If I press down on the top round, or down-load the Glock mags by one it stops.

I don't see it as much of a problem, if I have to use either one it's going to get a whole lot noisier.

I have it happen with a bunch of my factory magazines (including ones with new springs and followers), but not with any of my Mec Gar magazines.

I recall searching and finding some discussion about it here somewhere.
