Default Black and White a Two Tone 410

Had a friend getting some work done on a rifle. The shop had a third gen smith in the case and he sent me photo. 3 hours later it was mine. It's a value line Smith so I don't feel bad paying $250 for it.

The "list" shows the two-tone were only made it 1999, if you didn't know that already.

There is a two-tone Model 411 for sale down in Little Rhody (like this photo below) in excellent, albeit not perfect, condition. Asking price is $395 and I believe the shop owner said it was a consignment gun with a firm price so no bargaining. It would be tough, but not impossible, to get it into my moonbat state as it is a "pre-list" gun.

Unfortunately, my recent agreement with the good wife limits my ability to buy any more .40 caliber guns unless I sell one... so no-go for now.

Stripped it down to clean it. It has very little wear. I was dismayed by the plastic guide rod a little. But I remembered my G26 with a little over 1K rounds through it and its plastic guide rod nor frame has had an issue.

Now that's nifty looking! I wouldn't worry too much about the plastic guide rod, but if it does bother you they are interchangeable with the all metal ones from the 411 and related guns.
