Default Model 1006 10mm Magazine Questions

I received three different types of magazines for my Model 1006 which shipped in mid-1991.
The two with the yellow followers have identical bodies and they are both marked with an ES on the forward edge. One has a yellow follower with the leading edge of the top angled down, the other has a flat follower top.
The one with the white follower is stamped MS1 on the forward edge and AccuGuide on the lower left side. It also has ribs on the top edges near the rear of the feed lips.
Questions:

- I believe one of the yellow follower mags is original to the gun, would it be the one with the angled follower ?
- Are the flat followers more reliable ?
- Are the AccuGuide mags more reliable ? When were they introduced ?
- I have seen the white followers sold as components. Is it recommended to replace the yellow followers and if so, just the ones with the angled follower or both types ?

Thank you gentlemen

I believe I read on this forum that the yellow angled followers were found to contribute to cartridge nosedives and were therefore updated to the straight type.

I have noticed that the Accu Guide magazine bodies seem to be better finished along the area of the rear weld.

Stories going way back (long before my own personal journey into the world of 3rd Gens ) say that these "codes" are nothing more than lot numbers and, most likely, represent production from two different magazine (or magazine tube) suppliers to S&W. Supposedly, the "1" represents a later design iteration, but it could also just mean subsequent purchases.

No idea if this is true or false but it kinda makes sense.
