Default Shipping date of a 39-2 and price?

Can anyone help out with an approximate shipping date of a 39-2? Serial number is A4128XX. Previous owner can't remember when he purchased it.
Also, would you please offer an approximate retail price and one between friends? It comes with The Pach grips that are on it now (which I don't like it all) and 3 factory magazines. Thanks!

The serial# dates to about 1977ish, someone else will chime in with a value estimate.

The 3 factory 8rd magazines is a plus, they shipped with 2 in the box.

The mags with the metal followers are harder to find in excellent to lnew condition.

The aftermarket grips detract from the price but nice original wood grips are not that hard to locate with price related to condition.

The 39-2 is a great shooter and usually have a very smooth trigger compared to the double stack Model 59.

These pistols value varies a lot depending on locality.

Mine does not have more than 90% of the original blue on the slide from racking but shoots everything I feed it with 124gr hitting POA..Some 39-2 may be picky to ammo.

Mine cost $350 2 years ago in Central Texas with one metal follower magazine>no box, papers or tools.

9mm is the only caliber I shoot that I don't reload.

About 250,000 made
