A SIG P210-6. Just because I'd had 210s in past, thought they were about as good as pistols get, and decided it was time for another one.

NIB S-W M&P M2.0 9mm.
Why: Only had one Plastic Semi Auto (SA XDs 9) and wanted a longer barrel 9mm semi. Also price was great.

Don't laugh. I bought a Judge. I thought it would be handy for a fishing sidearm. I had one before and sold it. For some reason I missed it. I ran into another in nice shape so I bought it.

I just purchased a Glock 43 because the factory trigger in my M&P 9c sucked so bad.

It's weird, it's real, and it was delivered to the Springfield National Bank in the Smith & Wesson truck.

I bought a used, low mileage, M&P9c back in 2009. It had had an action done by a well regarded gunsmith.
After about a year, I sold it so that I could buy a barely used S&W 6906.
Why? Because even with the action job, I hated the trigger. And the fact that the slide clunked when it it cycled. Oh, and it was almost impossible to put 10 rounds in the 10 round magazine.
Thus started my love affair with the 3rd Gen semi autos.

What's your most recent firearm purchase, and why did you buy it?
Well, I really need to diversify and I am going to slow down and look into something other than wheel guns....but these came home with me. 2 Model 32-1 in 38sw. They were just to cool to leave behind.....but really I have to go cold turkey now.......unless a 610 comes along at a reasonable price.

...a GLOCK of all things...
I got "into" 10mm last year and ended up with several including a new Glock 40 long slide. I shot a friends G20/3 a few weeks ago and liked the grip just a little more than the G40/4.
Took a motorcycle ride on Wednesday and at a big local shop was a fully customized G20/3. Lone Wolf barrel, my favorite TruGlo TFO night sights, undercut trigger guard, stippled grip and full camo Ceracoat...didn't even look like it had been fired...$495...some price they were asking for other used 10mm glocks...
Took it out Thursday and it is a great shooter...one ragged hole at 15 yards.
No clue why someone would buy a new Glock, add $100 sights, $125 barrel and who knows how much for the custom work and then sell it...
Bob
ps...that said the week before I did get back from a friend a Smith I should have never sold...a 625-7 PC 5" .45 ACP....

I bought a couple last Saturday; a new M&P 2.0 Compact and a 4" Model 66-4. I bought the 2.0C because I always find myself picking up my Shield over the G43 as my EDC and I wanted to compare it to the G19's I have. I bought the Model 66 because, well, it was a good price and it's a pre-lock Model 66.

Most recent S&W is a 459 with the "short, fat" extractor. I bought it because I got a fully-functional DA/SA pistol in great condition made in the USA for $353, including tax. I collect the "wonder nines" that were all the rage when I came of age. This old came with the magazine with the flat metal floor plate.
The most recent purchase is a Ruger Standard that Clark Custom modified with a bull barrel and a BoMar sight rib back when they were in Keithville, LA. Why? Because I love rimfire guns that exhibit great American craftsmanship, and the very first firearm I shot back in 1973 was a Ruger Standard.

My latest was a Ruger American Rimfire. Why did I buy it? Never could get my wife to give up her's long enough to let me get any trigger time with it!

Two 500 count boxes of 230 grain 45 ACP bullets. While I'm fairly well set for firearms feeding them is a constant battle between Supply and Demand.

It has it's own thread... Gun Show Finds. October 7th, 2017. But here is a model 39-2, still looks like NIB, and has the matching box and all tools and papers except for the swab....
I bought it because I can resist everything except temptation!!!
Best Regards, Les

My last purchase was a 45 Shield. I have no use for it and although I've shot it, it's unlikely i will ever carry it. It was just so cheep with the rebate and the LGS discount, I just couldn't pass it up!
This is my last planned purchase and unlike the Shield, it will be carried as my new north woods trail gun.

Dan Wesson Specialist commander
For me it was a Dan Wesson Specialist - commander length in stainless steel. I am very, very impressed. Well made gun.
I lusted for a Specialist for quite some time, recently got a bonus and applied it to this purchase.

Yesterday. A Browning Hi-Power, "T-series" from 1965 I think it was...65 or 66 anyway. Finish challenged, but priced more like a FEG or and Argie than a Browning. Anyway, I've owned both the FEG and an Argentine Hi-Power, but sold them for one reason or another. Figured it was about time to try a Browning.
I think a little Flitz, some Ren Wax, and a little elbow grease will help with the finish. No pictures, sorry. It's on layaway for a little while anyway.

Finally found a nice Finnish VKT Lahti to go with an original wooden holster stock I bought about 30 years ago. I'll post pictures when Lathi arrives and I can put the two parts together.

I have been obsessed with 1911 handguns the past few months. Lately the 4" version. When I spotted this Colt pre 80 series Combat Commander at a bargain price I knew it would go home with me

A New Old Stock 629-4 Classic DX in a 6 1/2" barrel in box with all the goodies that come with it as it left the factory.
Why, because it is such a cool revolver that I could not pass up.

Well, I bought two recently. I bought a 4596 and a 4586. As to the why I am a hopeless 3rd gen steel addict. One day I hope to have all versions of the steel 3rd gens in 45 and 10mm. But the reality is I love them in all flavors and calibers. I recently developed an odd yearning for a 40 too. I seriously need help lol.

My most recent purchase was a H&R model 900 9 shot .22LR revolver. It desperately needed a new home and I felt obligated to give it one.

Purchased a 66-1 snub last weekend. I bought it not because i need it (have a 66-2 snub), or because of the below market price, I bought it because of it being marked S.C.S.O. (S____ County Sheriff's Office) below the cylinder.
Of course there are many Counties with names that begin with the letter "S", but according to the dealer (who bought an entire collection from a local estate) this 66 was used by the local Sheriff's Office. It was most likely a Detective's carry piece.
I have bought numerous firearms from the dealer and he's as honest as they come. I might have it lettered to be sure, but no matter where it was shipped to, it's a good deal for the gun alone.

Little Bauer 25acp - stainless copy of the Baby Browning.
Got it cheap at auction because it doesn't have a magazine.
Anybody got a spare magazine for sale?
EDIT: Found some magazines.

Last week I picked up a CZ 455 American. Why? Because I finally am starting to shoot .22LR again. I took my wz78 out the weekend before and just had a great time. The wz weighs about 9 pounds and I wanted something a bit lighter- hence the 455.
Before the 455 my next most recent purchase was a SD9VE. Why? I have several Sigs and CZ semis and just wanted to see what people found attractive about poly pistols. And because I have several S&W revolvers and think highly of S&W, I bought a S&W poly pistol instead of a Glock.

An S&W 4513TSW (early model), three 6 round mags, OEM box, in what looks to be really good shape from the pics, described as 95 percent. I haven't seen it yet, it's in transit.
Why? It was an involuntary reaction, I've been wanting one since getting a 457, I saw the price, clicked a couple buttons, dialed the phone and started reciting my credit card number. I seem to be in the middle of a third gen buying binge.

After no small amount of searching, I found a rather clean 4506 w/ box, and the seller said he was the second owner. It was not an LE issued gun (to my knowledge), and therefore has not been thrashed on, unlike many of the 4506s I have seen.
Clean versions are becoming like unicorns these days.
It literally will feed empty cases!
A very fun gun!

Bought 2 . A Ruger SR22 and an M&P22. Wanted something cheaper to shoot but with a nice feel to them. Of the 2 I like the M&P a little better. Has a big gun feel. Both are excellent choices.

I've also bought two recently. first was a m1006 I traded for with a forum member. That was my only 10mm. This last gun show I picked up a m1076, mainly because my m1006 was lonely. As to why, I was a revolver guy, but saw the light after a deal with Sevens. Now, I can't pass up a deal on a 1,2 or 3rd gen semi.

My most recent purchase was a SIG P220 10mm Elite DAO, why? because I already have a 1006 and I can’t find or afford a Bren 10. Oh I also took delivery of my Delta Elite that I had cut down into a bobtailed Delta Commander (this Tuesday). How many 10mm’s are to many? 1-Delta Commander, 1-DW Razorback, 1-1006, 1-SIG P220 1-Glock 20 (the only Tupperware I own) Glocks are like Ginger’s they have no soul
Edit
Just seen a Bren 10 today (first time in person) it’s at the upper end of what I would spend on a gun, especially one that probably shouldn’t be shot. I think they are on the homely side and it truly has the battle rattle.

Just ordered a scope for the Gamo .22 pellet rifle.
UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster Scope, AO
Needed something for long range AND close range work (mice/rats around the house). AO adjusts down to 3 yards (advertised) - Much closer than I need, but 7-10 isn't unusual. And, 3-9 zoom will get me out 100+ yards, for the long shots. Probably further than the accuracy of the rifle? It's been accurate out to 65 yards though. I like the thought of a scope covering all the distances I might need to cover, for a pellet rifle.
Eyesight isn't what it used to be, so open sights have been unreliable for ethical kills at any distance.

Last new gun was my Victory 22. And just a couple days ago I picked up my S&W Mod 10-8 4" bull barrel. I sold off my two Beretta's & I plan on picking up a S&W revolver. I've been bitten hard by the revolver bug.
It's a lot more shinier since i cleaned off the grime & dust

I got this apparently unfired Jericho 941 Semi-Compact a few days ago. I love CZ clones, especially all steel ones:

A Remington R51 because it was under $300 and I can get a $100 rebate.
I am mainly curious about the action.
