Default What hammer will work?

In the past, when I purchased my Gen 3 3913, & 4516, I replaced the hammers with ones from a 5906 so I could cock the hammer for the first shot. Since all 3 were Gen 3 guns, it was a perfect match. I now picked up a 469, & want to do the same thing, but I'm told the gen 3 hammers differ, due to the notches at the bottom for 1/2 cock function. So what will match the 469 hammer? Obviously a 459, & 439 will, but how about a 39, or 59? Are they the same? Any info on this? GARY

Pretty much all the da/sa hammers interchange, no matter the gen.
Use a 1st/2nd gen hammer if you wish to retain the half-cock feature (2nd gen pistols like yours have a firing pin safety so the notch is somewhat redundant).
Use a 3rd gen hammer if you wish to dispense with the notch.

For operational purposes, yes.
