Question Price Check 4506-1

Looking at a 4506-1 with adjustable sights and blued hammer and trigger. Gun is 99% condition in original configuration with one mag. Wondering what a fair price might be and will my 645 mags work with it? TIA

Hi Richard. Does it come with its original box? If it is 99% with one magazine I would say between 500 to 600 with no box. If it has its original box, add maybe 50.00 is my best guess. You can check the auction sites for an average of what they have been selling for as well. I hope you get it, they are great pistols. And yes, your 645 8 round magazines will work with the 4506 and its variants.

Thanks Sonny. No box, just pistol and one mag. I checked completed auctions at GB and only saw one that sold with adjustable sights. I'm thinking I could pick this one up for right at or a little under $450

You snooze you loose. Unfortunately when I went back yesterday, money in hand the pistol was gone. My first instinct last Saturday was to whip out the plastic or run to the ATM but I wasn't familiar with this model so wanted to du some research first.

That being said I had to run back to town last Saturday and still didn't do the deed. Kept telling myself to think about, do more research, it'll be there next weekend, etc. Just because you know better doesn't mean you won't still mess up from time to time.

Congratulations to whoever it is that took this one home!

Tough break, these are awesome pistols. $450 would've been a steal, for one in that condition (but I'm hearing that mags have gotten scarce and expensive).
Sonnyjames is right, a realistic current market value would be around $500-600. ( I might even say $500-550. I'll see them priced higher, but they almost always sit around until the seller drops the price).

I would love to get a late-production Model 4506-1 in 99% condition (one mag, no box) for $450! That would be considered a super-bargain around here. The one I have my eye on is tagged at $599 and best he says he can do for cash is $575 plus a gaggle of fees and taxes. Can I do better on that large firearms auction website? I'm starting to think that maybe I can.
