Default Help broken trigger play spring!

Hey fellas,I was trying to get the click out of my 4506-1 trigger by bending the play spring and it broke off! I ordered a couple of springs and rivets from numrich. Is the gun ok to use without the trigger play spring or will that really screw something up? Thanks guys....

It is safe to fire w/o the spring.

Ha! Have that same issue on a 4014 I've carried for 5 years and only recently noticed it; but it doesn't seem to affect the gun at all. I do plan to fix it.

Some Law Enforcement Agencies ordered their 3rd Gen's from S&W without the trigger play spring installed. Yes, it's fine to shoot them without one.
