Default Jack First's 39 long extractors

This probably is not news to those who know, but Jack First's early, long 39 extractors are most excellent.

A local FFL friend, (with a "store front,") got a 39 in. It is in OK shape but of course all of the extractor assembly was gone. He asked me to fix it as he couldn't sell it as is.

Anyway, I checked/called the usual sources, and Jack First had it all. The great women I talked to knew so much, and set me up. I got the parts in four days. They are making these in house, as well as the 52's. ( Maybe the same part ?) It "snapped" right in, and the 39 functions perfect.

I actually found the original, rear lower part that hooks in, stuck in the de-cocker, and it appeared deep blued, where as the new replacement is not.

If needed, we should support Jack First so they keep supporting us.

Jim

Thank you for this information. I just called and the price is $70.60. Kind of high, but at least now I can trust to shoot my early no dash 39 without worrying about it. Hope I never need it.

I have ordered and received one of these from Jack First since reading this post. It looks good to me. I now have an extra if needed. Good insurance.
