I have a friend who thinks like you, only not about guns. We'll go to a ham radio flea market and someone will have an item he's been looking for. The seller will state a price, my friend will look at it, and tell him he wants to think about it.
When we go back an hour later, it's gone and my friend says he should have bought.
What I tell him is, "The time to buy something you want is when you see it."
NIB 3rd Gens are pretty rare these days. More so if they are TSW models.
I went through this last year with a pre rail 3953TSW. It's the only one I've seen for sale and it was NIB. I really had to think about the price, but then I realized that the chances of my seeing another one, especially one this nice, were nil. So, I bought it.
A regular 5906 is a great shooting gun, a 5906TSW is bound to be an even better shooter.
Oh, so you don't think I'm feeling superior. about two months ago there was a nice 457 with 3 magazines at a LGS for $349.00. I thought about for a few days and when I was in the area, stopped by the shop. I missed it by about half an hour.
Fortunately, a week later another one showed up at the same price with two magazines. I called and put a hold on it, I wasn't going to get fooled twice.
See? Sometimes I don't even follow my own advice, sage as it is!
Keep looking, maybe you'll get a "do over" and one will show up.
