Volquartsen Extractor Installation SW22
I'm looking for any good resource on installing a Volquartsen extractor into a SW22 Victory 22 pistol. I have bought one due to the quality of parts Volquartsen is known to make. Having a tough time finding a step by step instruction video though.

Is your Victory OEM extractor malfunctioning?
I would contact Valquartsen for instructions on how to install their product, and for info regarding troubleshooting your extraction problems.

I’m having no issues with the victory. I just think the volquartsen looks like a better made part. Just a tinkering project

It is a trivial job. Simply pushing down on the extractor and, holding your finger on the end, slowly let it come out, along with the spring and plunger. The spring is under some tension, so be sure to let it come out slowly. The new extractor is simply pushed back in after the spring and plunger. I believe clear instructions come with the extractor. I replaced mine without any issue (and I'm a klutz at these things).

BTW, the ultimate teardown and reassembly video for the SW22 is found at:
It clearly shows removal and replacement of the extractor.

How do you like your replacement? I figured for under $20 I could put a better quality part in my Victory and have peace of mind. I'm preparing for a summer of bowling pin shoots and some steel shooting with my Victory.

It works fine. Best purchase I’ve made so far is my Vortex Venom. It made a real difference, one that I can see!

I just ordered the Tandemkross talon extractor for my Victory along with some extra springs. I’ve had a few FTE’s with various ammo so I thought I would try it. I do really like the pistol though, accurate as all get out and a ball to shoot.

I have a Vortex Venom on my SW22 as well, fine optic for the $$. On Sunday I ordered a Volquartsen carbon fiber barrel with forward blow comp for the SW22!! I can't wait for that sucker to arrive.
The Volquartsen extractor was so simple even a caveman could do it.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It was too easy of a target.

Went to the range yesterday and shot 150 rounds through my SW22. These were the first rounds since the new extractor was installed. I shot a mixture of Fiocchi 40gr LRN and Federal AutoMatch 40gr LRN. 0 issues were encountered. My Volquartsen carbon fiber barrel arrives tomorrow via UPS! Can't wait to get that sucker installed.

If you're replacing the extractor on Sw22
Be very careful to not let the spring and plunger squirt out.
