Default NGD 6906

Just picked up a real nice 6906. Has some evidence of carry but not much. Anyways can someone recommend a IWB for it besides Alien Gear? That’s all that I can find for it with a web search.

Also, anything I should change on this? Even though it looks great I’m thinking I should change out some springs.

Thanks

Put in a new recoil spring. I'm not sure that there is any other spring that needs routine, periodic changing out.

Make sure that it's cleaned and properly lubricated.

Don Hume makes, or at least made, a couple of holsters that should work. I have a H715 IWB that works well for my 457, so they might have one that works for the 6906. Also check FIST and Side Guard Holsters.

I have a holster that works for my 6906, an inexpensive one I obtained some years ago. I'll get the name on it and put it into this thread.

Usually holsters for a Sig 239 fit like a glove....A holster for a 6900 series gun is also the same as the 3913-4 series guns as well.
Kramer is still offering holsters for these fabulous guns. I still use a #3 IWB. as well as a their MSP paddle holster.
I am also pretty sure that Lobo Gunleather is still offering their holster for these guns.

Buy a Wolff recoil spring. They come with firing pin sorings too. Videos on YouTube if replacing the firing pin spring. Pretty easy. Remove the FP spring and blast out the channel with brake cleaner then replace the FP spring. Replace recoil spring. Buy a 3 pack of Wolff magazine sorings and replace the mag sorings.

That what I do with all used guns. Springs are cheap.

Stoner holsters makes quality leather for 6906 and 3913 both standard and LS variants....here is his 415 IWB that I bought for my 6906 some years back and now use it for my 3913NL...note that is was molded for the larger trigger guard just in case................................................................................................

Take a look at The Holster Store. I have the Pro Carry HD for my 6906 and it works fine. I added the sweat shield and it comes very looong. Trim to size. I have the LT version for my Glock 30 and it is pretty comfy. I got both with zero cant but would get forward cant if I ordered again. Just my preference.

I bought a Hughes Holster for my 6906 two months ago. I was so impressed by the holster that I bought an ammo pouch and gun belt a few days later. His Hughes Covert -IWB - (OWB) Hybrid Kydex Holster (34.99) is worth a look-see. The gun belt turned out to be the best of many I already owned.

So I chose a Hughes IWB. I also ordered an OWB for my CZ 75B. I watched this vid below and was quite impressed. Hopefully it gets here quick. Thanks for the suggestion.

FYI:This is a very satisfying vid to watch. Love how he works with the leather.
